Interior
The interior is centered around a fore and aft galley opposing
a generous settee with a centerline bolster seat. Sleeping is in
two large double cabins which afford generous headroom and floor
space for the occupants. A traditional navigation station to starboard
serves as the boat's command center and mini - floating office.
Finally, instead of trying to cram in two heads this design utilizes
one large one that really functions well. It even has an enclosed
shower.
On deck the A 36 is pure function. The comfortable cockpit features
generous seating with comfortable backrests which in no way impede
the ability of the crew to sail the boat hard when desired. This
is backed up by what is becoming a Jutson trademark - the swept
spreader runnerless carbon rig. Our experience in this area is now
producing some of the most easily tuned performance packages which
are also capable of surviving the toughest Hobart. With its lack
of runners and the small headsail this rig further simplifies the
sailing of the boat which is a benefit to both casual cruising as
well as racing.
