Regular fleets of Austral 20's sailed in South Australia during the 1970's to the 1990's.

Austral Association

The Austral Association was formed in 1975 from a group of enthusiastic boat owners. The object of the association was to encourage the growth of 'A' One‚ design class yachts and then to supervise the racing of classes and to foster participants in association activities.

These days there are many designs being built by Austral Yachts and the original Austral Association has changed. Occassionally members get together for social and sailing events. Past committee members are listed below if you need any information.
